Shopify if you want it to simply work and can live with the monthly fee. WooCommerce if you need unusual logic or already run WordPress. That decision gets made on your actual numbers, not on which one is easier to build.
Which payment gateway is best in South Africa?
Yoco for simplicity and fast onboarding, PayFast for range, Ozow for Instant EFT, Payflex if buy-now-pay-later suits your basket. Most stores should offer card plus Instant EFT at minimum — leaving EFT out costs real sales here.
