Privacy policy

Who we are

Client Factory ("we") is a marketing studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• When you contact us: your name, phone number, email address and whatever you tell us about your business.
• When you visit: anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel — pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referrer.
• Nothing else. We do not buy contact lists and we do not sell yours.

Why we may process it

To answer your enquiry, to quote on work, to deliver work you have engaged us for, and to measure whether our own advertising is working. Direct marketing to you happens only where you have given consent under section 69 of POPIA, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by replying "stop" to any message.

The Meta Pixel

This site loads the Meta Pixel, which reports anonymised events (page views, WhatsApp clicks) to Meta so we can measure ad performance. Meta acts as a separate responsible party for that data. You can limit it through your Meta ad preferences or by blocking third-party scripts in your browser.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted or anonymised after 12 months. Client records are kept for 5 years, which is the period South African tax and company law requires.

Who else sees it

Only the operators we need to do the work: hosting (Cloudflare), email, WhatsApp Business (Meta) and analytics. Each is bound by its own processing terms. We do not share your information with anyone else.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to processing. Email hello@clientfactory.co.za and you will get an answer within one working day. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own; blocking them in your browser will not break anything on this site.
